"Just a few days after signing up with ShelterCare, my son's dog "BK" and our other dog, Indy, were playing in the yard together and "BK" began to limp. We just thought "BK" had pulled or sprained his leg. However, when it did not get better, we visited our vet. X-rays revealed that his front leg bones had been dislocated and sent us to see a surgeon. Surgery was required to reset the leg bones, requiring screws to set the bones.
